The City of Fairbury is accepting sealed bids on the lease for hay harvesting purposes certain grassland located in the West Half of the Southeast Quarter (W1/2, SE ¼) and the Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter (NE ¼, SE ¼) of Section (13), Township Two (2) North, Range Two (2) East of the Sixth P.M. in Jefferson County, Nebraska. Lease will be from May 1, 2026 to April 30, 2029.

For Farm Lease information or to print a bid application form, or contact the City Clerk, located at 612 D Street, 402-729-2476.  Sealed bids in envelopes clearly marked ‘East Well Hay Lease Bid’ must be received at the office of the City Clerk by 3:00 p.m. March 3, 2026.  Bids will be opened at the regular meeting of the City Council on March 3, 2026, at 7:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers.
