The City of Fairbury will be accepting sealed bids to occupy and use for agriculture purposes 38 acres of cropland owned by the City from May 1, 2026, to April 30, 2029, on the following real estate. The property is owned by the City of Fairbury and located within the Southwest Quarter (SW ¼) of Section Fifteen (15), Township Two (2) North, Range Two (2) East of the Sixth P.M. in Jefferson County, Nebraska.
The City of Fairbury is accepting sealed bids on the lease of the Fairbury Levee for hay harvesting purposes. Tenant to occupy and use for hay harvesting purposes approximately 17-19 acres certain grassland located on and around the Fairbury levee, up to and including 15 (fifteen) feet outside of the levee toe, and approximately 2-3 acres of certain grassland, generally described as Fraction of the Southwest ¼, West of the Levee and North of the private road, Section 15-2-2, in Jefferson County, Nebraska. Lease will be from May 1, 2026, to April 30, 2029.
Both farms above will be combined into 1 lease for the 2026-2029 leasing years.
