As a reminder, The City of Fairbury requires any person who owns, keeps, or harbors a dog
over the age of 6 months within the city limits to license the dog each year beginning January 1st.
2026 Fees:
Male or Female Dog-----$10.00
Spayed or Neutered Dog-----$5.00
Replacement Tag-----$5.00
Late Fee after Jan. 10-----$5.00
Licenses are not transferable from owner to owner
Completed applications should be brought to the City Office with the following:
1. RABIES VACCINATION ISSUED BY VETERINARIAN
2. SPAY/NEUTER VERIFICATION
3. PAYMENT OF LICENSE FEE FOR EACH NEUTERED/UNNEUTERED DOG
(NOT TO EXCEED 3 DOGS)
Licenses are issued by the City of Fairbury. An application can be obtained by printing it online (www.fairburyne.org) or by picking it up at the City Office.
Any applications for license received after January 10th will be considered delinquent and a $5 fine will be assessed.
