Chairperson Polson made the statement regarding the Open Meetings Act as required by statute.
1. Chairperson Polson called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. and asked for roll call. Other members present were: Davis and Kuzelka.
2. Next, was the motion to convene. Member Davis made the motion to convene. Member Kuzelka seconded the motion. By roll call, the vote was: 3 - "yes" (Polson, Kuzelka and Davis) / 0 - "no". The motion passed.
3. Next, was the motion to approve the minutes of March 16th, 2010. Member Kuzelka made the motion to approve the minutes. Member Davis seconded the motion. By roll call, the vote was: 3 - "yes" (Kuzelka, Davis and Polson) / 0 - "no". The motion passed.
4. Next, was Discussion and recommendation regarding the professional service agreement with Olsson Associates for the Flood Drainage Study – Urban Drainage Systems and FEMA Floodplains “Project” in accordance with the 2008 CDBG Grant Agreement contract number 08-DRP-008.
Member Kuzelka made the motion to discuss. Member Davis seconded the motion. By roll call, the vote 3 - "yes" (Davis, Kuzelka and Polson) / 0 - "no". The motion passed.
Bedlan explained that the Street Department procured for bids to do a 100% CDBG funded flood drainage study and that Olsson Associates was the only engineering firm that sent in a proposal. Davis made the motion for the public works committee to recommend the city council approve the Mayor to sign the professional service agreement with Olsson Associates for the Flood Drainage Study – Urban Drainage Systems and FEMA Floodplains “Project”. Member Kuzelka seconded the motion. By roll call, the vote 3 - "yes" (Davis, Kuzelka and Polson) / 0 - "no". The motion passed.
5. With no further discussion and no comments from the public on non-agenda items, member Kuzelka made the motion to adjourn the meeting. Member Davis seconded the motion. By roll call, the vote was: 3 - "yes" (Davis, Kuzelka and Polson) / 0 - "no". The motion passed. Member Polson declared the meeting adjourned.
