notification of the date will be given.

PUBLIC HEARINGS
1.
Set Public Hearing concerning an
application to the Nebraska Department of Economic Development (DED) for a
Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) to develop a new “Comprehensive
Development Plan with Zoning and Subdivision Ordinances” for the community.

2.
Set Public Hearing concerning
amending Fairbury Zoning Regulations – 2005 Edition,
§
5.10, 5.11, 5.12, and 5.13 to allow for certain nonconforming dwellings and
home occupations located in the general commercial, downtown commercial,
highway commercial, and light industrial districts to be enlarged, extended,
reconstructed, moved, or structurally altered by special use permit.

CURRENT BUSINESS
1.
Consider appointment of Stanly Colby
as Full Time Police Officer.
2.
Swearing in of Stanly Colby as Full
Time Police Officer.
3.
Presentation by Brian Reetz from The
Groundwater Foundation.
4.
Consider recommendation from the
Public Works Committee regarding the towing complaint from Don Goebel in the
“Downtown Tow Away Zone after 2” Snowfall” area.
5.
Consider
the 2011 Annual Loan Agreement with the
National Museum of the
United States
Air Force for the Aircraft on display at the Fairbury Airport and also
authorizing
Mayor Ward to sign the documents.
6.
Consider Special Designated
Liquor License application for the Fairbury Chamber of
Commerce for a beer tasting festival “Pork ‘N’ Pints” to
be held at
the VFW on April 16, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. This will be
held inside with Microbreweries represented, offering samples of their
selected brews.

RESOLUTIONS AND ORDINANCES
1.
Resolution No. 808 adopting
amendments to Crystal Springs Park Rules and Regulations previously adopted
by the City of Fairbury Board of Public Works.
2.
Second Reading:
Ordinance No. 3006: AN ORDINANCE SETTING SALARIES FOR CITY EMPLOYEES
COVERED BY IBEW AGREEMENT; PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF; AND
REPEALING CONFLICTING ORDINANCES.
