Pursuant to Section 84-1412(8) of the Nebraska Open Meetings Act a
current copy of the Open Meetings Act is posted in the entry of this meeting
room and is available for viewing by the public.

- Direction of Economic Development for
Jefferson County.
a)
Concerns that have developed, how to direct funding and evaluate
program effectiveness.
b)
Need to consider change, its definition and importance.
c)
What areas of Economic Development are important to the area.
- Pros and Cons of different directions that
could occur in the area.
a)
Working with JCEDC, present leadership, costs associated with program
and results.
b)
Developing a new Economic Development program for the area, what the
leadership would be, and costs.
c)
Working with Southeast Nebraska Development District (SENDD) for
implementation of Economic Development program, plus costs.
d)
Defining and developing a needs assessment for directional focus,
i.e. Entrepreneurship, Infrastructure, Retention.
- Local leadership, how it is implemented, how
it is measured, when does this need to occur, development of
Economic Development Committee in Fairbury.
a)
Council, Board, County, and Private entities, who should be involved.
b)
Costs associated with final directional decision.
c)
Implementation.
