    1. Approval of the minutes of the Regular Meeting of July 18, 2006.

    1. Set Public Hearing for Local Option Sales Tax (LB840) Program review.
    2. Set Public Hearing for the nuisance property owned by Chester Veatch, at 711 E Street.
    3. Set Public Hearing for the nuisance property owned by Tracy Emery at 821 K Street.
    4. Public Hearing for a Community Development Block Grant request.
    5. Set Public Hearing for a request from Northgate Development, Inc to change the land use classification of Northgate 4th Addition from HC-Highway Commercial/LI-Light Industrial to R1-Low Density Residential; and to change the zoning classification from B3-Highway Commercial/L1-Light Industrial to R1-Low Density Residential.

6.      Approval of purchase of waste oil storage tanks.
7.      Jefferson County Law Enforcement Center Lease Agreement.
8.      Presentation from LB840 Committee on the request from Lambriar Animal Health Care for LB840 funds.
 
  1. RESOLUTIONS AND ORDINANCES
1.      Resolution No. 630 authorizing and directing Mayor E.M. Mueller to proceed with the formulation of any and all contracts, documents or other memoranda between the City of Fairbury and the Nebraska Department of Economic Development so as to effect acceptance of a Community Development Block Grant application submitted by Lambriar Animal Health Care.
2.      Resolution No. 631 adopting the Declaration of Trust and Interlocal Agreement joining the City of Fairbury with other Nebraska public agencies as a participant in the Nebraska Public Agency Investment Trust.
3.      Resolution No. 632 consenting to the amendment of Exhibit D to the Service Schedule M Total Power Requirements Power Purchase Agreement with the Municipal Energy Agency of Nebraska.
4.      Second Reading Ordinance No. 2944: AN ORDINANCE ENACTING A CODE OF ORDINANCES FOR THE CITY OF FAIRBURY, NEBRASKA, A POLITICAL SUBDIVISION, REVISING, AMENDING, RESTATING, CODIFYING AND COMPILING CERTAIN EXISTING GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE POLITICAL SUBDIVISION DEALING WITH SUBJECTS EMBRACED IN SUCH CODE OF ORDINANCES, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
