1.      Approval of the reappointment of Bob Stepp to the Planning Commission, term to expire September 2009.

2.      Approval of the appointment of Jan Nance to the Library Board, term to expire July 2010.

3.      Request from the Fairbury YouthNet for permission to use the parking area on the corner of 6^th & E Streets for a theatrical performance on October 31 and November 1, 2006.

4.      Presentation by Dan Duren of Benefit Management on employee insurance.

5.      Consideration of the Planning Commission’s recommendation regarding a request from Richard Allen to allow more than one principal building to be located on a lot or tract of land.

6.      Request from Aunt Annie’s Attic for $12,000 of LB840 funds to be used for relocation to StageCoach Mall, lower level.

7.      Consideration of purchase of property located at 1223 F Street.

8.      Request for permission to advertise for bids on the sale of a fire truck.

9.      Presentation by Fire Chief on Homeland Security schools attended.

 

1.      Resolution No. 642 ordering and directing U.S. Bank National Association to remedy the public nuisance located at 1203 Oak Street, legally described as Lot 7, except the North 22.84 feet, and all of Lot 8, Block 5, Bailey & Christian Subdivision, Fairbury, Jefferson County, Nebraska.

2.      Third Reading Ordinance No. 2945: AN ORDINANCE TO PROVIDE FOR THE ADOPTION OF A DROUGHT EMERGENCY CONTINGENCY PLAN, TO ESTABLISH PROCEDURES FOR RESTRICTION OF WATER USE IN THE EVENT OF WATER SHORTAGES OR LIMITED SUPPLIES, AND TO IMPOSE PENALTIES FOR NONCOMPLIANCE AND TO REPEAL PRIOR CONFLICTING PROVISIONS.

3.      Third Reading Ordinance No. 2946: AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE LAND USE CLASSIFICATION AND ZONING OF A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED ON LOTS ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR, AND FIVE OF THE NORTHGATE 4^TH ADDITION, FAIRBURY, JEFFERSON COUNTY, NEBRASKA.

4.      Ordinance No. 2952: AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE LAND USE CLASSIFICATION AND ZONING OF TRACTS OF LAND LOCATED ON LOTS 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, & 12 OF BLOCK 39 AND ALL OF THE LOTS LOCATED ON BLOCK 38 OF THE ORIGINAL TOWN OF FAIRBURY, JEFFERSON COUNTY, NEBRASKA.
